At DeliDej, caring for your children’s lunch means more than preparing a warm meal. It also means making sure each child has enough to eat, according to their appetite, their age and their day.
That is why we have introduced in 2025 the DeliDej Refill at Lycée Français Vincent Van Gogh in The Hague.
Children do not always have the same appetite. Some days, they are hungrier than usual. After a busy morning, a sports activity or simply during a growth period, a standard lunchbox may not always be enough.
With the DeliDej Refill, our goal is simple: no hungry children, and no unnecessary food waste.
For Nursery and Primary pupils, if a child is still hungry after finishing their DeliDej lunch, our team can offer a small extra portion, a fruit or an additional dessert, depending on what is available that day.
This allows us to adjust lunch more closely to each child’s needs, while keeping a responsible approach to food waste.
For Middle School and High School students, the process is even simpler. They can come directly to see us at the cafeteria if they need something extra.
The Refill is part of our everyday commitment: helping children enjoy a complete, balanced lunch so they can feel comfortable, focused and ready for the afternoon.
Blanche, who recently joined the DeliDej team, is helping us bring this service to life with care and attention. Her role is to make the lunch experience smoother, warmer and more reassuring for the children.
At DeliDej, we believe that a good lunch is not only about what is in the box. It is also about listening, adapting and being present at school, day after day.
Because when children eat well, parents can feel more at ease too.
Thank you for your trust — and bon appétit ! 😋
